Ingredients[]
- 7 lbs / 3 kg raspberries
- 4 lbs / 2 kg sugar
- 1 qt / 1 l vodka
Directions[]
- Choose nice, plump raspberries.
- Remove the stems.
- Take a 5 – 6 qt glass jar with a larger opening.
- Place a layer of raspberries, a layer of sugar, alternating between the two and taking care that the last layer is sugar.
- Add vanilla, vodka, rum and cover the opening with cellophane or parchment paper.
- Place in a sunny place.
- Keep for 3 – 4 weeks, shaking the jar every 2 – 3 days.
- Serve with or without the raspberries.
